Álvaro joined Sigrun in 2023. He has participated in the execution of various M&A deals, as well as in debt refinancing transactions in different sectors. In addition, he has performed analysis and valuation of multiple business opportunities.

Before joining Sigrun, Álvaro worked in the Financial Services department at KPMG, defining and implementing strategic plans, market studies and operational restructuring projects in different sectors. He also worked in the Strategy and Operations department at Deloitte, where he participated in strategic and business projects for the energy and telecommunications sectors.

He holds a degree in Industrial Management Engineering from the University of Deusto including an exchange program at the Czech University of Life Science in Prague, Czech Republic. Álvaro has recently completed a Master in Finance from Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles (IEB).
