Álvaro joined Sigrun in 2021. Since then, he has been involved in various debt financing and refinancing transactions, as well as in M&A deals in the logistics sector and in the food industry in Spain. Additionally, he has performed analysis and valuation of multiple business opportunities and proposals for potential clients.

Prior to joining Sigrun Partners, Álvaro worked in Corporate Development at Ferrovial Airports & Power Infra., where he was involved in bidding processes for electricity transmission networks in Latam and in an M&A transaction in Chile. He also did a summer internship at Abante Asesores where he worked on investment proposals, analysis of financial products and monitoring of investment portfolios.

He holds a degree in bilingual Economics and Finance from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, including an exchange program with the Fisher College of Business in Ohio, United States. He has passed CFA level I.
