Eduardo joined Sigrun in 2016 as Operating Partner of the Aviation area. He has extensive experience in the air transport sector, where he has held various management and consulting positions in very different areas of that market.

He began his professional career in Iberia, where he worked for 25 years, reaching various management positions such as head of the Finance Department, Director of Fleet Management, Financial Director of Iberia Maintenance and General Director of Airports. In addition, he was an active part in the design of the synergy plan in the integration of Iberia and British Airways in IAG, both in the maintenance and handling areas.

After leaving Iberia, he established himself as a consultant for strategic development projects, fleet financing and acquisition, business development, etc., and has worked for airlines such as Vueling, Air Nostrum, Volaris, TAAG, Galistair, Plus Ultra, as well as others. companies: Grupo Cobra and Tarmac (aeronautical maintenance business), Babcock International Group (airport equipment), SGS (technical advice to airlines and leasing companies).

Eduardo is a board member of the Real Automóvil Club de España and the RACE Business Group, as well as the President of Asegurace. He has also been a member of the boards of directors of various companies (Serpista, Multiservicios Aeroportuarios, Iberamerica, ISM, Iberbus companies, etc).

He holds a degree in Economics from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and an MBA from the Escuela de Organización Industrial (EOI).
