Rafael joined Sigrun in 2022 as Operating Partner.

Rafael has over 25 years’ experience working with FMCG companies. Since 2009 he has been an independent advisor to FMCG companies looking to grow outside of their native geography. He has worked with a wide range of companies, from start-ups to stablished companies.

Rafael as a wide experience working closely with investment funds both in their Due Diligence before acquisition, valuing the commercial potential of the company, and creating value for portfolio companies to expand their sales and business development. He has participated in a number of market transactions across Europe.

From 1998 to 2009 he worked in various FMCG companies having several management roles within the marketing and international expansion departments.

He holds a BSc. A.R.C.S. in Biochemistry from Imperial College London, an MSc. in Biochemical Engineering from University College London and a full time MBA from IESE Business School.
